First Grade Teacher
Graduated from Southern Arkansas University with a Bachelor of Science in Education
I taught first grade for 3 years in Magnolia and I am so excited to teach in Taylor this year! Previously, I was a radiographer (x-ray tech) for 14 years in a teaching hospital and realized teaching is what I really love to do. I returned to school to earn a degree in Elementary Education and now I happily spend my days doing what I love!
My husband, Clem, and I have two sons. My husband is the Vice President of Health and Wellness for Share Foundation and Executive Director of HealthWorks in El Dorado and loves to play golf. Brennon, our oldest son, is a sophomore this year at SAU pursuing a degree in chemical engineering. He works in the athletic department at SAU and loves to workout every day. Clem, our younger son, is a sophomore at Magnolia High School. He is in the choir and loves to lift weights and exercise.
When I’m not teaching, thinking about teaching, or planning teaching; I enjoy going to the movies with my family, hosting game nights with friends, gardening, decorating for holidays, reading, pretending I enjoy my workouts, and thanking the Lord for this life at First Baptist Church.
