This is my third year at Taylor Elementary. I teach Literacy, Math, Language, and Social Studies/Science.
I started teaching in 2009 as a health/PE teacher in Bastrop, La. I moved "back home" to teach second grade in Bradley for one year. After that I went back to school for school counseling and went to work at Bradley High School for 3 years as the guidance counselor. Though I loved the high school I took the opportunity to go back to the classroom at Taylor Elementary School.
I am married to Lance, who is a nurse at the local hospital. We have a daughter, Harper, who is our favorite entertainment. We are animal lovers and always have critters around our house. We have 4 dogs and a whole flock of chickens. I have 12 nieces and nephews and 4 great nieces and nephews. I have a very large and tight knit family that I spend as much time as possible with.
I like to ride four wheelers and go to the lake with my family and friends as much as possible. I like to deer hunt and pole fish for crappie and white perch. I like warm weather and I like to be outside. I like all those things, but I love the Arkansas Razorback football team! Fall is my favorite time of year becasue every Saturday I am either watching the game or listening to it on the radio. I go to the Arkansas/LSU game every year to CALL THOSE HOGS!! WPS!!
